Frequently asked questions

What documents are required to rent a car?

You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a government-issued ID, and a credit or debit card. Some rentals may require additional documents based on location or vehicle type.

How do I book a car rental?

You can book directly on our website, or by giving us a call. Select your preferred car, rental duration, and pickup/drop-off locations.

How do I get billed for Supercharging?

We have a Fleet account with Tesla, so that you can setup your own profile, and pay for Supercharging under your own credit card. This ensures that the experience mirrors an actual owner's experience.
‍
Note: to save money at Superchargers, beware of expensive idle fees. Idle fees kick in 5 minutes after you finish Supercharging.
Also, in 2025, Tesla introduced new congestion fees. This kicks in when you're charging the Tesla above 80% and the charging stations are all busy. Congestion fees apply because Tesla wants to make it fair for everyone to charge their cars.

Are there extra charges if I do a lot of driving?

Yes. To maintain cost-efficiency, additional distance is charged after 200 km per day, at $0.2 km per km. This gets added up and invoiced at the end of your rental.
200 km examples: Vancouver to Victoria and back, Vancouver to Squamish and back.

What is the minimum age to rent a car?

Following Turo's footsteps in this age range, renters must be at least 25 to rent. We do often recommend Hertz or Zerocar for Tesla rentals as well, keeping in mind a young driver fee may apply from them.

What happens if I return the car late?

Late returns may incur additional charges. Contact the rental office if you anticipate being late to avoid penalties.

Do you deliver to my home or workplace?

Yes. Please contact us. Extra charges may apply.

Are there any discounts available?

Yes, we offer discounts for early bookings, long-term rentals, and memberships. Check our website or promotions page for the latest deals.
